I am an alumni of West Virginia University (WVU) with my Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout my years at WVU, I had wonderful opportunities to knowledge about the field of Mechanical Engineering, enhance my professional development and be involved with various extracurricular activites. From my coursework during academic semesters to my summer work experiences, I was able to receive an excellent understanding of my field and the possible applications of my degree. Both my Undergraduate Research Experience at WVU and Project Engineering Internship at Elliott Group provided me with an introductory view to the excellent opportunities I had after graduation! Also, I am very thankful to have been able to participate in the activitives and organizations at WVU that I did. The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Student Organization played a very important role in my life to help me strengthen my desire to seek professional development, networking and involvement in service. As the President of this organization during my senior year, I also sought to provide my peers with the same opportunities. I was very passionate about doing so and actually served on the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department Student/Faculty Feedback Committee to help provide faculty members with feedback and improve upon the future students'​ learning experience. (If you would like to hear more about my involvement in these organizations/activities, read up about them in the activities section!) Currently, I am a Rotational Engineer at Elliott Group. As a Rotational Engineer, I have the wonderful opportunity to work in all of Elliott's business units over the course of two years! After which, I will have to choose from all of the great departments for where I may want to work. Through this opportunity, I hope to continue my pursuit of knowledge and goals that I valued greatly during my time at WVU. I look forward to learning as much as possible!
