Between two years of graduate studies and five years of professional experience in the Data Analytics/Science field, I’ve been able to establish a solid footing in the industry. Having always been willing and able to embark on new assignments, while seeking out additional opportunities as opposed to waiting for them to come to me, I’ve quickly developed competencies that allow me to excel in a senior leadership role. In addition to using and applying advanced analytics and big-data analytical tools, mastering the creation and maintenance of models, and onboarding new data sets, I’ve more recently been able to develop myself in a variety of leadership positions. With this has come some of my most fulfilling work, as I’ve been able to experience firsthand the satisfaction and personal growth gained from training, developing, mentoring, and leading others. To this point in my professional career, one of my proudest accomplishments took place while completing my final months of graduate studies. I was invited to speak and present my research project, SAS Capstone, at the 33rd Annual Spring Conference of the Pennsylvania Computer and Information Science Educators (PACISE). Although an accomplishment I experienced very early on, successful attendance and completion of this event allowed me to obtain my SAS joint certification. This, in turn, provided me the initial stepping stone needed to secure my first professional position.Integrity, hard work, and perseverance are values I stand by. These are principles I see as being immutable; thus, they will always carry through, be evident, and guide me in each and every one of my future personal and professional endeavors.In my spare time, I enjoy photography, social media marketing, investing/trading, weight training, cycling, and spending time in nature.
