- Used SolidWorks and 3D printing to design and create pharmaceutical pump models for engineering team; implemented a hollow structure in resin 3D prints to reduce print time and improve cost efficiency by 150%- Designed pump keyshafts in SolidWorks and optimized shaft fits by testing varying transitional tolerances; documented procedures for optimizing new designs- Integrated O-ring grooves in ATEX covers for pumps while optimizing groove size to withstand pressure increases by 30%

- Investigated the effects of caloric intake, meal intervals, and activity levels on human health and energy efficiency - Developed scripts in MATLAB to model energy dissipation after energy consumption in critical organs

- Explored cell surface marker protein genes to understand how they alter the malaria parasite’s ability to invade human cells- Determined the most malaria-susceptible populations by developing algorithms in R analyzing surface marker frequency - Showcased new findings in global seminars to inform other immunologists on the parasite’s epidemiology

Most individuals have limited knowledge in the medical field, but they are interested in their health and our goal is to assist them in making smarter medical decisions. We do that by regularly analyzing the data collected via smart devices. We also alert the patient about how severe something is, what they can do to help themselves, and if they potentially need to go to the doctor. We aim to prevent unnecessary testing, lower healthcare costs, and ensure that the right patients are visiting the doctor at the right time.We created and pitched our business plan to judges in the TYE Business Plan Competition and won an award.We also entered the Diamond Challenge International Business Competition and were semifinalists.
