I am a hard-working, organized, and disciplined veteran that has made the transition out of the USAF after 10 years of service, earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Milwaukee School of Engineering, and currently work in the Legal Department as a Patent Agent at Milwaukee Tool.During my time in the Air Force, I expertly provided maintenance, inspection, ground support, and handling for C-5, C-17, KC-10, KC-135, and commercial aircraft. Throughout this career in the military, I also effectively cleared grounding discrepancies as well as troubleshot and repaired hydraulic systems to include landing gear, cargo door, and flight control systems. My success was not only limited to these areas, but also extended to the managing and performing of maintenance on aircraft systems unrelated to my primary career including guidance and control, power plant, and environmental systems. My expertise also extend beyond maintenance, and included my ability to act as a leader within the workplace. During my career, I supervised and managed servicing, ground handling, form documentation, and inspections both stateside and oversees during two separate tours of duty.After almost four years "cutting my teeth" in patent prosecution for a wide variety of technology fields in private practice, I am now providing in-house IP and legal support to multiple business units at Milwaukee Too. I am a registered Patent Agent at the USPTO (Registration No. is 80,828), and have experience in prosecuting patent applications across the globe. In my current tole, I manage large patent portfolios, and helping engineering and marketing teams navigate the IP space in both front end innovation projects and new product development projects.
