Joshua Wells Broaden. From Bloomfield Connecticut and has been living in NYC for almost 13 years. I attended Marymount Manhattan College where I studied Communications (Film Intensive). I have been involved with video production since 2010. It’s my life. Through my own initiative I landed a position as an office assistant at 40 Acres and A Mule w/ Spike Lee and eventually transitioned into working on hundreds of TV shows as a Camera PA & 2nd AC. From there, a production management role at Revolt for the State of the Culture Show w/ Joe Budden. That led to a camera operator position within Joe Budden’s network. That camera position transitioned into a directors role where I managed the equipment, production, allocation of media, and post production for See The Thing Is, Podcast. I frequented Mark Seliger’s Studio as a camera/gimbal operator. I have touched every aspect of the film/tv/production industry With 10+ years of experience. My foundation is Camera Operation with a specialty in editing programs such as Adobe Suite and Avid. I possess a deep understanding of Line Producing and Budgeting, Pre-Production Initiatives, Run of Show, Shot Lists, Rounds of Edits, Revisions, Correspondence with the Client, and Celebrity Interactions. My objective is to let ideas flow freely and receive criticism with enthusiasm. I strive to create high quality projects and provide quality service that will surpass my client's expectations as well as my own.
