Postdoctoral Fellow at The Child Health Institute of NJ, part of the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I am performing research in the Laboratory of Dr. Derek Sant'Angelo, which specializes in Innate T Cell development and effector functions. My primary research involves the role of BTB-Zinc Finger Transcription factors in the development and function of invariant NKT cells, and the potential use of these cells as tools for fighting infection and cancer. Additionally, I am looking into the T Cell Receptor (TCR) signaling necessary for the development of innate versus conventional T Cells, with a focus on signal strength and subsequent differentiation.

The Morris Animal Refuge is a nonprofit organization specializing in preventive, protective and adoption services for abused, neglected and abandoned animals. One of the first organizations of its kind, and the first in the country to accept cats, The Morris Animal Refuge has been serving Philadelphia since 1874, never turning away an animal in its 135+ year history.

I worked in the laboratory of Dr. Randall Worth looking into the role of lipid microdomains on the cell surface in Fc-Receptor mediated Phagocytosis and Endocytosis.
