Guided Webby award-winning Figure 1, a venture-backed medical case-sharing platform, through resource constraints and COVID-19, culminating in a strategic acquisition by Physician's Weekly (Mar 2024), a leading PE-backed health publisher. As CEO, I orchestrated an impressive turnaround, transforming the platform to drive user engagement and revenue growth. This resulted in a complete financial recovery – transitioning the company from significant losses to debt-free status and maximizing shareholder value – achieved entirely without additional funding. Leveraging my M&A expertise, I led the company through the entire deal process, from negotiation all the way through closing.Previously at Figure 1 (Jan 2017 - Nov 2019), I spearheaded the go-to-market strategy as VP, Business Development & Strategy. Building a high-performing team, I secured partnerships with over 30 multinational biopharma firms, generating millions in revenue and positioning Figure 1 as a leader in digital health innovation. Prior to Figure 1, I leveraged my expertise for seven years, consulting with digital health companies and guiding them towards achieving significant growth. Additionally, I held impactful roles at WebMD from its early stages through its successful IPO.
