Our Local Parish is a Catholic community-building enterprise. The solution to the confusion, provocation, and isolation we live in today is only found in Christ Jesus AND the strength of our communities in Him. It is time we all came home and began to live more fully united within our parishes. Our Local Parish was inspired to facilitate that transition to the Catholic Church by sharing the stories of the local church and its people. To weather the storms of the current era, we must rely on the strength of our relationships; first and foremost, our relationship with Jesus the Nazarene and, secondly, our neighbor. We believe the lack of financial education is responsible for the near epidemic of bankruptcies, foreclosures, underfunded retirement plans, and failed marriages that currently plague this nation.This needs to change.In today’s highly complex and ever changing economic culture, financial literacy becomes a critical skill set needed to survive as we navigate our way through our earning years and into retirement. Our mission? Provide the educational tools necessary to empower lives, enabling people to make informed financial decisions impacting their financial well-being.COFFE offers over a dozen classes to the public with one simple goal…financial literacy. All of our classes are offered free of charge and can be found in your local library, town meeting room, and churches.
