These inspections take place in occupied buildings and I work in a very diverse campus environment. The inspection of UCSF spaces will range from labs to offices, to public space, and includes miscellaneous state owned property. I am trained in the use of Maximo, FieldFlex, and Tririga and use these programs daily to perform my inspections.The objective of my position is to inventory and assess all UC owned real property assets using industry standard inspection techniques. As the Architectural Condition Assessment Inspector I perform inspections of all Architectural real property systems, components, and assets for UCSF. I inventory and document my findings as required by the ICAMP guidelines. Typical duties include scheduling Facilities architectural observations and surveys, facility maintenance interviews, obtaining and utilizing existing electronic or hard-copy architectural equipment list, Architectural key plans and site developed information, i.e., drawings, existing facilities condition assessment reports and other related facilities inventory and condition assessment data are incorporated into my assessments.Since taking on this new role at UCSF I have also been performing the Program Manager duties, along with my Arch. Along with the responsibilities I listed above, I am also responsible for HBS payroll for all my direct reports, approving all purchase orders for materials ordered by the trades group, conducting weekly huddle groups with each trade group, conduct bi-weekly safety tailgate meetings, handled all workers comp. and L.E.R. cases for my direct reports. In my time with the Facilities Trades Department I have secured a level of trust with my trade groups to a point where I feel my direct reports can trust me to do the right thing as their supervisor.
