My two-plus decades in Corporate Comms roles at large, global, matrix organizations have empowered me to hone these capabilities and fuse them with a skill-set that maximizes leadership, management, operations and strategy. My career trajectory includes stints in-house and agency-side at recognized brands such as NFP, an Aon company, WTW and Burson. I’ve been fortunate to gain knowledge from some of the best mentors in the industry, cultivate their best practices and apply them for optimal business success. My subject matter expertise centers on topics related to human capital, employee benefits, risk management and P&C insurance.High-level, I establish communications strategy for the brand and workforce to drive business objectives, employee experience and company value. I have a forte for earned media and securing quality coverage that spotlights stakeholder value within the context of client needs. I’m proud of my work beyond external communications that has allowed me to have a positive impact on employee engagement. Interacting with high-achieving people inspires me, so the counseling element of my job comes naturally. Within this scope, I advise senior executives, influential business leaders and key contributors on communicating effectively and support their decision-making processes. There’s also a risk mitigation component to my role where I manage reputational issues and sensitive matters that could impact the brand and employee morale. At the core, I really enjoy what I do and am gratified by the value I bring to Communications.
