Coordinate and manage local sporting events in the Greater Kansas City Area, with the purpose to enhance the economic development and quality of life of Greater Kansas City. Events include the 2015 Kansas City Royals World Series parade, Kansas City Marathon presented by Garmin, Kansas City Sports Commission Awards Banquet, and various NCAA and Big 12 Championship events.
