Began as a helper with ~250 hours experience on a Kubota BX25D Tractor other basic construction experience, and learned the basics of multiple skills including heavy equipment operation (~75 hours on a Bobcat S595), core drilling, hand sawing, concrete removal and demolition, laying drains, grinding, scarifying, driving a dump truck, towing and using a dump trailer. Used a high frequency handsaw, ring saw, and chain saw extensively, as well as multiple jobs with a high frequency wall saw.

Spent three years during high school breeding high quality purebred working line German shepherds. Most pups went to individuals and families as companion and protection dogs. Second summer working on the Premise team, cleaning the park rides and the premises. Helped the management team in the design and planning process of a new mechanic shop.

Performed a diverse set of maintenance tasks during the summer at Belmont Park centered around cleaning and maintenance of the park rides, including pressure washing and waxing/polishing. Also assisted the ride mechanics with projects such as inventory, assembly, and welding roller coaster axles.
