As a community organizer, I've worked with grassroots non-profits and political campaigns across the country. I aim to empower communities and maximize their impact in municipal and statewide elections. I understand the importance of community involvement and have been successful in getting community members involved in the political process.I have extensive experience in public speaking and have organized rallies and provided grassroots training for parents, voters, and activists. These skills have helped me effectively communicate with a diverse range of audiences and get them excited about getting involved in the political process.My background in education has given me a unique perspective on meeting the needs of the community. Before working in grassroots, I taught middle, high school, and adult students. As a result, I understand how to tailor instruction to meet the individual needs of staff and activists.In my free time, I enjoy pursuing my passions for music and skiing. I've been a volunteer musician at my church for over 16 years, and I also volunteered with the Loveland ski patrol for several years.I earned my bachelor's degree from Colorado State University, where I started teaching privately to pay for school. I later earned my master's degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce, where I was awarded a teaching assistantship. I currently live in Arlington, Virginia.
