I spent a summer becoming proficient in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), learning quickly through self-teaching and guidance from senior engineers. Most of the summer wast spent conducting full vehicle analysis of a heavy-duty 6x6 UTV, supplementing the design processes with load path optimization and tie down provision validation. These skills were further utilized in conducting FEA for my senior design project.

I worked two summers as a manufacturing engineering intern at a tool and die plant in Middleville, MI. Here I learned the basics of lean manufacturing, 2D layout drafting, cycle time studies, capacity analysis, and measurement systems verification.
