For the last few years I've been working either in retail bookstores or in a public library honing my customer service skills and team participation qualities. I've been both a member and leader of a team, and have dedicated time and teamwork to creating and hosting events and serving customers or library patrons. I've hosted events that regularly drew in crowds of over a hundred patrons, introduced new foreign and independent films to the library visitors, and led book clubs and introduced musical performances. My goal is to transition to the publishing industry, working from the ground up, on either the creative or administrative side.
