Over the summer, I worked as an intern on the Quality & Evaluation team on an internal tool that enables engineers to compare different versions of Grammarly and observe the changes in word recommendations. My project was to scale llm evaluations within the tool by working with data scientists to determine which metrics were most valuable and how to calculate them. On the backend, I wrote a python flask server to calculate and return these metrics given llm evaluation data. On the frontend, I wrote ClojureScript to access my API and visibly display this data on the dashboard to thousands of Grammarly engineers.I also enhanced various features of the overall pipeline such as updating the algorithm to partition text for LLMs, displaying the diff between human and llm evaluations, and drove a new initiative for fine-tuning an evaluation model.

Developed a reusable component to improve cross-page compatibility for Amazon Books cards, enabling legacy cards to render across all sub-routes within the books framework. This enhancement extended card visibility beyond new pages to the full Amazon Books ecosystem, providing a flexible, scalable solution. Gained hands-on experience with AWS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Amazon’s internal tools in a high-impact, customer-focused environment.

Started an after school cookie business which grew into a cookie-delivery business during the 2020 quarantine. I developed my brand focusing on convenience and consistency. I expanded further into baking cookies every morning for mini-storefront setups inside of a barbershop and a candy store by networking and satisfying customers.

Directed calls and booked tee times for golfers at golf courses across the US using a computer booking software. Collaborated with other agents to problem-solve for golfers and golf course employees with booking errors and other issues. Assisted people on the course by relaying calls and information in real time.
