I am a financial planning student at BYU-Idaho. Currently, I work with a small financial planning firm helping to guide families on their path to financial independence. I am very passionate about this industry in my work and studies, and it is my aspiration to become a fiduciary CFP professional working within a Registered Investment Advisory Practice.I am a self-motivated person who seeks out opportunities to assist in problem-solving. As an example, after working at a financial planning practice for around a month, I became aware of a stressful task or pain point for the support staff of an advisor that occurred monthly. After asking some questions about it, I learned that the process occurred in Microsoft Excel. Excel is one of my strengths. They showed me the problem and I offered to take on the challenge. By the next time they needed to do it, they had an automated excel process that I had built.
