I am excited to care for my patients' ophthalmic diseases while using my expertise in mechatronics and additive manufacturing to design and develop novel patient-centered devices in vision science and ophthalmology. As someone who has earned a medical doctorate (MD), a master's degree in biomedical engineering (MASc), and awarded a postdoctoral engineering fellowship I believe optimum patient care is at the intersect of inspiring leadership, supportive teamwork, high quality medical care, and innovative interventions.My technical expertise include optomechanical device design, CAD modeling, multi-material 3D printing, mechatronics design and programming, multispectral imaging, and laser cut machining.
