My focus was on designing, prototyping, and validating a device that utilized a multispectral light source for both phototherapy and objective visual function testing.I also led the development of novel research devices used in the UC Irvine department of ophthalmology for fundus imaging, objective oculoplastic assessments, and surgical technique analyses using 3D printed prototypes and machine learning. Additionally, I mentored and managed medical students, graduate students, undergraduates, and high school students.
