Born in Adelaide SA, I attended Cabra College and then went onto Flinders University where I studied English, French and Italian. I was heavily involved with amateur dramatics within the Italian Department and also sang with the Italian Folk Ensemble and Compagnia Folk. I spent 1981 overseas touring Europe and teaching English in Italy. When I returned to Australia I taught Italian and French for three years and continued to do amateur theatre. In 1985 I moved to Melbourne to study acting at the Victorian College of the Arts. After graduating I worked with Arena Theatre, the Melbourne Theatre Company and Doppio Teatro in Adelaide. With Doppio Teatro I also co-wrote and toured "Ricordi" and wrote two children's plays "Peppino and "Naso Bello, Naso Brutto" which toured SA and VIC. "Naso Bello, Naso Brutto" also had two seasons at The Victorian Arts Centre in the mid 90's. I also had three children in the 90's and took a break from Theatre but continued to teach and do the occassional TV or film jobs. After ten years of teaching high school drama (including VCE Drama for five years) I returned to the theatre in 2011 in "Six Characters in Search of an Author" at la Mama Theatre. In 2012, I toured "Cosi" and "Macbeth" in schools, with Eaglesnest Theatre and appeared in "Under Milk Wood" at the Welsh Church with Whistling Vicar Theatre and at the Palais Foyer and at Chapel off Chapel in Alex Broun’s "First Fireworks" with Reaction Theatre. In 2014 I appeared in Mockingbird Theatre's production of "Quills" My television credits in the last few years include "Woodley", "Winners and Losers" and "It's a date".
