As Senior Partner/General Counsel, I assist the EBS team with legal and compliance issues that arise relating to ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA and other employee benefits related issues, I will also be advising clients on health and welfare plans and evaluating the continuous developments in healthcare reform. While at McCarter & English, I practiced in the areas of complex commercial litigation and counseled public and private companies, individuals and public authorities in contract and business tort disputes as well as employment matters. Prior to joining the firm, I served for three years as Deputy Legal Counsel to Governor Paul Cellucci and Executive Director of the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Council, where I administered all stages of the judicial nomination process. Prior to that, I served for five years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Division.
