As the Head of Design for The Stag my main role consisted of designing and laying up the newspaper contents onto InDesign. This responsibility helped develop my skills on PhotoShop and InDesign, as well as working within a team and having control over the whole design process. During my time at The Stag I also helped with the campaign we undertook to transition from a newspaper to a magazine, which involved social media and promotional activities on campus.

Job role included updating online listings, creating in-house posters, writing for a column in the Woking Advertiser, organising a Twitter campaign for #MuseumWeek, assisting with press releases, collating and updating visitor feedback information on Excel, and assisting with general marketing and admin related tasks.Key skills learnt/developed:- InDesign- Social Media (Twitter in particular)- Excel efficiency - Working in an office-based environment- Applying my education in journalism to real life practice
