Registered Yoga Teacher 200 hourWilderness Advanced First Aid certifiedI have worked at the blossoming Cumberland Forest School as an Outdoor Mentor working with children ages 6-10 years old, and have experience working as a head camp counselor and Outdoor Adventure leader for Saint Andrews Sewanee School. In addition, I have worked at various yoga studios for a total of three years, and sharing the art of yoga with others is one of my passions. I am a current Senior at Sewanee, majoring in Environmental Arts and Humanities, and looking to go into the field of Nature and Adventure Therapy. While at Sewanee, I was a codirector of the Crafting Guild which teaches students various crafts like pottery, wood working, and fiber arts, and was a trip leader for the Sewanee Outing Program taking students on climbing, caving, camping, and hiking trips. I have also worked as a amateur bike mechanic for the school's bike shop. My passions include rock climbing, teaching and practicing yoga, mountain biking, exploring the outdoors and taking others on outing trips, working with children, creative writing, painting, and helping people forge stronger relationships between themselves, their environment, and other people. I believe nature is healing and movement is medicine for the mind, body, and spirit, and that the best way to heal is to reconnect with the outside world to find beauty in all aspects of life.
