As a BI Developer Analyst on the CeDAR team within the Office of Information Technology, my mission is to develop solutions that empower diverse campus groups by providing support and insights to enhance their tasks and decision-making processes.I began my journey by attending training sessions on BI platforms such as Cognos and Tableau, leveraging these solutions for various departments and teaching new functionalities to community members.I provided Campus Group's Winter Session with the short-term solution in Excel utilizing advanced functions, automation, and documentation. For the long-term solution, I cultivated a comprehensive data integration report, gathering requirements, historic data insights, and dashboard visions to guide the data integration and design teams for future BI platform migration.I collaborated with the campus platform department to generate three bulk data reports and presented an overview of Cognos version 12's new capabilities to the department lead. I also worked with their intern to provide insights into integrating this data into Excel and Tableau.Working with my team, I generated a report that leveraged queries, unions, and filters for the Housing Engagement Department regarding campus housing data. Additionally, I analyzed, developed, and reviewed Tableau server admin dashboards, crafting feature renderings in Figma and incorporating updated performance metrics.

Beyond assisting students and professors at the help desk, I'm given the opportunity to set up workshops oriented around software such as Microsoft Suite, WordPress, and Adobe creative cloud. I'm tasked with seeing these workshops from their inception to their termination. This role allows me to grow and learn at a rapid pace actively.

In my role as an Information Technologists at Lazard, I led the creation of a project reporting dashboard. This challenging project demanded leadership, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. I successfully navigated resistance from project managers by fostering open communication, incorporating feedback, and ultimately converting skeptics into advocates. Through my technical proficiency and commitment to effective collaboration, I delivered a dynamic and automated reporting dashboard that garnered positive feedback from the team.

Community finance in an accredited neighborhood. My duties include goal setting with clients, reviewing and processing various transactions, and bolstering the clients' knowledge of financial security on all platforms. This role rapidly developed my communications skill because I needed to figure out precisely the client's needs and present them in a timely manner.

Our team is responsible for the final review of agreements between two or more parties, to ensure all contracts adhere to compliance and internal guidelines. This role required me to balance quality and quantity, due to the high volume of transactions received contrary to the timeframe. This role bolstered my critical thinking and self-reliance skill to ultimately make positive contributions toward the firm's overall goal. Nevertheless, this role taught me the importance of seeking further advice from colleagues and team leaders.

The Jenny Investment Club, founded in 1955, is a student-oriented investment portfolio. The purpose of this club is to invest in mid-capitalization companies and generate funding for Wooster’s scholarship program. The portfolio currently has a valuation of eleven million dollars. Moreover, I collaborate with other trustees and board members to find undervalued securities in the market or sluggish equities in our portfolio to give weekly buy/sell presentations to voting members.

One aspect of my role included dispatching technicians to assess PTAC/ HVAC units throughout the five boroughs. Another element of my role included communicating with clients regarding sales and installations of new units, customer service, warehouse details, and connecting en route technicians with on-site clients remotely to ensure efficiency in the technicians’ schedule. This role prompted me to devise probable decisive solutions in real-time to promote effectiveness. Moreover, our team communicates amongst several departments constantly allocating resources; this allowed me to strengthen my communication skills. Also, this role required proficiency in customer databases such as MS Smart Service, MS Excel, Quickbooks & Google Sheets to quickly create, analyze, and share data amongst all departments. Finally, I volunteered to help restructure an outdated business filing and data system.

Collaborated with the professor of research coordination, collecting data and surveys from participants in a summer youth employment program. This honed my proactivity and organizational skills. Additionally, I provided guidance and insight by writing reports concerning what improvements could be made to the youth employment program. All, of course, trusted with sensitive information.

Assisted Assembly member, Robert J. Rodriguez on the six billion dollar Metropolitan Phase II transit line project on Second Avenue, New York. Researched and formulated informational flyers to further understanding and encourage civic engagement. Communicated with constituents on the phone and filed complaints with the New York Housing Authority regarding housing situations.
