My name is Joss Walden, I am a highly ambitious graduate psychologist. I hold a First Class Bachelor of Science (BSc) focused in Psychology from the University of Surrey and a Distinction in Health Psychology (MSc) from the University of Bath. I am looking to pursue a career in Clinical Health Psychology. I was nominated for the MSc in Health Psychology Research Award after achieving the highest mark for my Master's dissertation. Currently I work as an assistant psychologist within an Adult Eating Disorders Service (NHS SaBP) spanning outpatient and day patient care. I also volunteer as an ambassador for the UK's leading eating disorder charity, Beat and run my own advocacy page and podcast on social media; “honey, are you happy?”. I have over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults with learning disabilities and mental health disorders, such as eating disorders. I am skilled in project management, behavioural interventions, mixed methods research, behavioural support planning, child & youth support, low intensity CBT, mental health education, and health promotion. In my spare time you’ll find me active and outdoors; hiking, climbing and traveling.
