The company has a generating capacity of 10,050 MW which corresponds to 10% of Brazil's electrical production.My main task as Finance Intern was:- Calculate the renegotiation and additions of contracts with Furna's services providers.It was a big experience to deal with high values contracts. My sense of responsability increased a lot. Furthermore, I had to learn about the federal law that rules the contracts and take the law in consideration when analyzing the contracts and for sure I turned a more analytic person.

It was the perfect opportunity to develop my communication skills and all my soft skills in some manner, because I had no options beside talking with a lot of different people every day.
