Worked for boutique legal consultancy firm. Supported two bellwether cases (City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County) in Opioid MDL. Regularly traveled to NYC and Boston to examine and prepare MIT, CDC, and healthcare policy experts, and traveled Cleveland to meet plaintiffs. Reviewed discovery and litigation documents.

Chief Operations Officer for specialty design and construction business with operations and relationships with ~20 vendors in Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, and Florida. Oversaw process improvement, business planning, and bookkeeping. Partnered with accounting, human resources, legal, and tax professionals. Reported to owner-CEO.

Semester internship with head attorney of local division of Venezuela’s EPA-counterpart, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, and worked with team’s other two lawyers protecting territory containing the country’s highest concentration of oil and gas companies. Reviewed contracts between companies and permit applications to confirm compliance with environmental regulations. Supported litigation, including cross-referencing procedural and substantive rules and codes and attending court proceedings.

8-month internship with municipal government agency. Work included creating guidelines for government lawyers to help comply with recently revised national legislation.
