Industrial Designer that discovered - as many did - that creating a good product requires a lot more than the design itself. With my team of passioned innovators at QWIC we managed to build a trendsetting e-bike brand, obtaining a strong position in the rather conservative bicycle industry. I Joined the team in 2010 after my graduation. After managing both the Marketing and Technical service departments in my early years, I've been responsible for all product development related activities since 2012. In my role, I am responsible for developing a spot-on product range, finding the right balance between market requirements and the abilities of our supply chain. In addition, I have been driving the sourcing, manufacturing and quality management activities in Europa and Asia. I Learned that finding the right manufacturing partner for a product can be of equal importance as the actual design and that it takes a good understanding of every step in the development process, from sketching all the way to the assembly line, to be able to take the right decisions along the way.
