Serving on the Exec Team of New Zealand's leading dining group to support the Board during a CEO transition, I led the group's operations with responsibility and leadership across 14 truly industry-leading hospitality teams, operations and locations.

Initially an investor and subsequently joined as a director of speciality health-focused brand, The Raw Kitchen - scaling from a small wholesale raw cake operation to a lifestyle brand with self-titled book, 50k-strong social media following and branded cafes in Auckland.Over 12 months we also developed and brought to market New Zealand’s first cold-pressed juice brand, WELL+GOOD and scaled to three branded retail hospitality experiences and strong wholesale operation before both brands were separately acquired in 2017.

As an equity Partner in the group and Auckland Director, I specifically held strategic, operational and financial responsibility for the Auckland business and our ambitious expansion to Mojo’s second NZ market. Under my leadership we built a brilliant team and realised our ambition to further develop the product and scale successfully beyond Wellington. We developed the Auckland business from a single espresso bar to a collective of 13 high-volume hospitality venues delivering outstanding coffee and food products to 35,000+ loyal customers every week. Following and concurrent to the successful expansion of Mojo to another local market, Mojo was launched offshore in Japan, quickly followed by China and now the USA. Starting life as a single cafe and speciality coffee roaster, Mojo is recognised as one of the country’s most experienced and respected vertically-integrated coffee roasters and hospitality operators with wholesale and 40+ unique hospitality operations. Mojo is truly one of New Zealand's greatest hospitality success stories.

European-inspired yet distinctly New Zealand espresso brand with cafes in Wellington and Auckland and a wholesale coffee operation. Acquired in 2010 by the Mojo Coffee Group as I joined the group as a Partner and Auckland Director.

Focus Services was launched as an innovative alternative to the traditional property services industry - working on a hunch that age-old industries could be disrupted with creative thinking and a new approach. With an impressive client list ranging from A-grade building landlords, The New Zealand Treasury to NZX and backed by a high performing team and industry-leading profitability, Focus was acquired in 2010 by one of New Zealand's largest private property services companies, Paramount Services Group.
