I love being able to grow and learn new skills, an environment that is always evolving/growing would be an ideal place.I started as a self-taught programmer, starting with Python then moving into NodeJS and while studying Web Development I learned Ruby as a passion project, taking it further than my studies and creating multiple successful projects with it and improving my skillset and knowledge-base while creating some long lasting friendships.I have also competed in multiple "Hacktoberfest" events over the years, contributing to open-source projects, receiving rewards and prizes from Microsoft, DigitalOcean and Docker with personal projects currently in the Github Arctic Vault.Currently working as a workforce analyst for TSA, managing multiple requirements such as training, service levels, statistics, etc.In this role I am also updating and creating multiple tools used by operational managers, team leaders and service officers to better assist in their day-to-day operations.Developing projects for communities important to me or side-hobbies for my own games or helpful tools:* Ruby-based discord bot with a modular feature-set including: Web scraping for coupons, image editing to create memes, reverse image searching and polling/voting tools.* Crystal-based pomf-like website with a minimal front-end and a backend system designed for image-uploading and link-shortening tools like ShareX.* Crystal/Javascript-based frontend website with monitoring statistics such as CPU usage, Storage, Memory Usage and Quick links for other applications hosted on the system.* Ruby-based backend that acts as an API-Gateway for the Flutter-based Android/iOS app that implements and open-source adaptation of Nintendos APIs for their game "Splatoon" and provides useful game information in the app with live up-to-date data for users.
