I love my job. I've loved it for over 20 years and I can't imagine doing anything else. I've travelled the world and worked in London, Sydney (I would love to say Paris - but that ain't true), and now I am nestled in a small Bedfordshire village where I live with my wonderful and demanding daughter. I love Monday's. Monday's rock! I get to sit down with my morning cuppa and get to work. It could involve a chat with a new start-up, then onto working on a brand for a charity then after lunch - freelancing for an agency. There is never a dull moment. Don't get me wrong, it can be like juggling on a rollercoaster - but it is all worth it. The other day a client gave her feedback on her new brand. "When I look at my logo, it just makes me smile" - what could be better than creating a brand that gives someone the confidence to follow their dreams, just like I have followed mine. I have had to change and grow with the design industry. When I studied design at Uni - we were still typesetting - nope - no computers! I remember thinking that the internet would never take off! I am constantly evolving to keep up. I am now designing websites, social media content and keeping my eye out for new platforms to conquer. I have made mistakes with my own business but I am still going 20 years later. I must be doing something right. I would love to work with you, if you have an idea, want to refresh your brand, or are looking for a kick arse freelancer, I am here. Whatever you are looking to do, I am happy to chat and see what we can do together. I will take on any challenge, large or small - I recently created a label for a girl who sells cheese - I mean who doesn't love cheese?! I will give my all to visualising your concepts and make them a reality. So pour yourself a cuppa and get in touch.
