About Josue Ibañez

As an immersive experience designer, media artist, and creative director from Mexico. My work focuses on creating experiences that blend technology and design into art forms to generate a positive impact.I am a former co-founder of Cocolab, one of Latin America's largest multimedia studios. For almost two decades, I have led teams of artists, designers, and developers in creating immersive experiences and multimedia artworks showcased globally at events and exhibitions such as SXSW in Austin, Today's Art Japan, The Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Mutek MX, Day for Night in Houston, Black Matte projects in New York City, Meow Wolf in Las Vegas and The Design Museum in Barcelona, among others.Additionally, I founded and currently serve as the creative director of OFFF Mexico, an international design and digital art festival that is one of Mexico City's most prominent festivals. This event has inspired thousands of new generations by hosting creators worldwide.More recently, I have been working as an independent creator, collaborating with global clients such as The Sphere and Tiffany & Co. This ongoing work allows me to continue pushing the boundaries of immersive and digital art.
