I am responsible for the development, maintenance and support of a web application that offers scheduling and reporting services to 80 users in a large city. The tool uses templates to send automated SMS and email reminders in 12 different languages. I also support a variety of technology needs from CPD-affiliated community groups all over the US, as well.

I am managing the tech development of data collection tools that organizing groups all over the country have started using. I am also responsible for training the organizers to use these tools.

I am an Interpreter (both simultaneous and consecutive) and translator in English <<>> Spanish. Clients include the City of Austin and Texas Rural Legal Aid. I also provide language justice educational trainings and workshops, to help groups understand why they benefit when their members and clients can communicate in the language of their choice.

PowerBase is a web-based database built on top of CiviCRM, an opensource project. I support organizing and basebuilding groups with their transition to this platform. This support includes setting up the database, importing their records, training staff, and generally making things work.

May First Technology Collective was a nonprofit, worker-run collective, building a model for a healthy and just workplace. May First used technology to strengthen the impact of social justice organizations. We were organizers and activists first, grounding our technology work and internal development within the vision of our larger social justice community.
