About Jos Van Triel

Currently working as Policy advisor chemical substances, nanomaterials and consumer safety at RIVM, Centre for Safety of Substances and Products (VSP). In my past roles as project manager and study director, I was responsible for the conduct toxicology studies – primarily in the field of inhalation toxicology – ranging from regulatory guideline (e.g. OECD, ICH, EMA, FDA) studies to innovative research projects on e.g. nanotoxicology, respiratory allergy and in vitro models for airway toxicology. I was also involved in human toxicological hazard and risk assessment of industrial chemicals, in particular within the REACH framework. Experienced project manager (IPMA certified) of multidisciplinary research projects; Inhalation toxicologist, and European Registered Toxicologist (ERT).
