Responsible for planning, directing, supervising and executing, as appropriate, all academic, administrative and financial activities of the Faculty that are not reserved by law to another authority of the University.

Plans the Audits to be carried out in the Institution in the established period, taking into account the critical areas detected in previous audits and the requests made by the Authorities of the Institution. It elaborates the work programs, establishing objectives and procedures to be followed and indicating the necessary human and material resources, and estimating the time of execution. It collects and analyzes all the documentation related to the audits and detects sources of information for the execution of the same. Prepares work plans for emergency audits in units, for which they have not been programmed. It analyzes laws, regulations and technical standards that regulate the activities of later control. It recommends that the laws, regulations and resolutions issued by the highest authority of the Institution, as well as the other authorities, be complied with. Plans and coordinates the activities of substantiation of administrative inquiries. Appoints the committees and the group coordinators, for the execution of the audits. It informs the auditors, by means of office or work order, the activities in which they are going to participate and the objectives that are pursued with the audit. Approves the actions and partial reports of the auditors on the development of the audits. Analyzes the reports of results presented by the auditors and elaborates final report of the audit. Prepares final report of substantiation of administrative inquiries, once the file has been studied. Send to the Internal Controller the report of substantiation together with the file, for signature and referral to the University Council. It makes recommendations that it considers appropriate, based on the results of the audits and in accordance with the laws, regulations and procedures that regulate the matter.
