I'm a visual storyteller who loves working with people to film, edit and produce compelling content for their business.

I have over 20 years experience creating content for television - writing copy, desktop editing, directing, conceptualising, producing. I also have over 14 years people management experience. Prior to that I wrote and produced content for travel shows in Auckland and London. And I'm writing a Middle Grade Children's Novel on the side.

Head of News and Current Affairs Promos at Mediaworks producing the majority of News and Current Affairs promos and brand spots. I also oversaw the producers who worked on The AM Show, The Project and Newshub spots. I've also had over a decade's experience managing and giving creative feedback for the promo producers at Prime TV, C4, FOUR and TV3 before I decided I missed being creative myself.

Successfully managed a team of eighteen creative and admin staff for six and a half years through many company changes and HR issues. Maintained great relationships with all areas of the business and acted as 2 I.C to the Creative Director when unavailable.Responsible for daily feedback on the teams’ rough edits before they went through voicing /mastering and ensuring the producers stay on brand and felt supported along the way.

I was head-hunted by Prime’s CEO to be the manager and senior producer of the promotions department, leading a team of seven. During my four years at PRIME, I produced countless promos, programme launch campaigns and sales reels while successfully managing, growing and supporting my team. Writing, Directing, programming and producing inflight programming for the World's largest inflight entertainment production company. I worked predominantly on Cathay Pacific travel shows but also worked on Air New Zealand programming due to my previous experience in that role. I also successfully production managed the international shoots for ‘World of Entertainment’ in London, Ireland, Dallas, Los Angeles and Tonga.

Produced programming for Air New Zealand which involved programme scheduling, writing, studio directing and programme production. Wrote, produced, production managed and directed presenter-driven travel stories throughout New Zealand to highlight all the wonderful tourism spots our beautiful country has on offer. Those travel stories involved shooting in and writing about Auckland, Rotorua, Queenstown, Piction and Christchurch.
