Euro-BioImaging is a prominent European research infrastructure specializing in biological and biomedical imaging, recognized by ESFRI and the European Commission. With participation from 18 countries and EMBL, its mission is to offer open access to top-tier imaging services, training, and expertise across nearly 200 facilities in Europe through Nodes. Researchers from academia or industry, regardless of expertise or location, can access these services via a straightforward application process, facilitating innovative research and collaboration across Europe. Managed by a tripartite Hub, Euro-BioImaging promotes its services, coordinates provision, and fosters cooperation within the imaging communities.

INVEST’HER aims to tackle the funding divide in European innovation ecosystem building a network of gender conscious investors to support women entrepreneurs, and supporting the action of the European Female Founders Forum

As grant officer, my role includes to:• Motivate, inform, advise and coach scientists during the whole lifetime of their projects, from idea to final reporting• Identify suitable calls and funding, including engagement with relevant funding agencies • Actively work with colleagues from the science and engineering teams and ESS In-kind partners to identify and develop excellent project ideas, funding sources and research and innovation opportunities• Establish strategic partnerships with internal and external partners and stakeholders• Support ESS scientists and engineers in writing research proposals incl. the coordination with the project consortium• Update and maintain the Group’s library of text modules describing the organization, work-flows and project management routines• Preparation of administrative documents and budget negotiations• Assist the administration of the grant and ensuring the timely and complete delivery of the financial reporting of selected grants incl.o Monthly cost control for the in-house Finance Divisiono Quarterly reporting for the respective grant participantso Annual reporting to funding agenciesThe role requires to be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to be self-motivated, service-oriented, flexible and able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.

Coordinating the European Network of Research Infrastructures and Industry for Collaboration (ENRIITC) bringing together 11 Partners from large scale European Research Infrastructures and European Industrial Liaison officers, as well as 60+ Associates to establish a pan-European network of Industrial Liaison and Contact Officers (ILOs/ICOs). This project aimed to improve the RI-industry cooperation and boost the innovation ecosystem in Europe in order to unlock the under exploited innovation potential among industrial actors across Europe and maximise societal and economic benefits across the whole innovation value chain.My role was to lead and manage the project, including interface with the European commission and various stakeholders from the European innovation ecosystems (funding agencies, industry, TT offices and networks, universities, RIs...). I was in charge of representing the project in various events (Techconnect Europe 2021, IndTech 2022, BSBF2022, ASTP annual conference 2022...), and managing the consortium and the project implementation. Over the three years, and despite a budget of 1.5M EUR, the project grew by +460% reaching 500 individuals, and had successful achievements, and received warm congratulations from the EC project officer and external reviewer during the final project review. ENRIITC enabled mutual learning, proposed strategies and best practices to foster the collaborations with industry, raised awareness among industry for collaboration opportunities at research infrastructures, and demonstrated impact.

With a budget of received nearly €20 million the project Building a Research Infrastructure and Synergies for Highest Scientific Impact on ESS (BrightnESS) proposal began in 2015 with the objectives to implement activities to mitigate technological and organisational risks relative to the delivery of ESS. I joined the project in March 2027 as project manager and took over the coordination in November the same year. As project coordinator, I was in charge of leading the partners, ensuring the proper delivery and implementation of the project, on time and on budget. I was the interface between the European Commission and the consortium partners. I was responsible for the project reports and financial administration. I organised various events in Europe including the final closing Conference. The role included to put in place strong management processes and monitoring, to be pro-active, and have solid managerial and leadership skills. Under this assignment I had to successfully go through two audits of the project, and ensured ESS secured its entire budget.

Lead the five Thematic Networks of the ESF Transnational Platform. Key responsabilities included:• Lead the Thematic Experts • Identify and manage the European participants in Thematic Networks (TN) from all EU countries• Create and manage a database of transnationality National Contact Points • Plannification and organisation of TN events in Europe, and other ESF Transnational Platform events (annual conferences, seminars)• Develop web content and communication material.

management of a European Leonardo mobility project, leading the group of European students during their exchange in Paris, including supervision of their internship placements, intercultural inclusion.

Creation and development of the mobility project "MOWINE" using the European programs Leonardo and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. MOWINE enabled junior independent wine growers to gain a professional expertise from senior winegrowers of the network, this also allowed intergenarational and intercultural exchanges while strenghtening the CEVI network and its members.
