Enriitc Project CoordinatorEuropean Spallation Source Eric Jan 2020 - Mar 2023Lund, SwedenCoordinating the European Network of Research Infrastructures and Industry for Collaboration (ENRIITC) bringing together 11 Partners from large scale European Research Infrastructures and European Industrial Liaison officers, as well as 60+ Associates to establish a pan-European network of Industrial Liaison and Contact Officers (ILOs/ICOs). This project aimed to improve the RI-industry cooperation and boost the innovation ecosystem in Europe in order to unlock the under exploited innovation potential among industrial actors across Europe and maximise societal and economic benefits across the whole innovation value chain.My role was to lead and manage the project, including interface with the European commission and various stakeholders from the European innovation ecosystems (funding agencies, industry, TT offices and networks, universities, RIs...). I was in charge of representing the project in various events (Techconnect Europe 2021, IndTech 2022, BSBF2022, ASTP annual conference 2022...), and managing the consortium and the project implementation. Over the three years, and despite a budget of 1.5M EUR, the project grew by +460% reaching 500 individuals, and had successful achievements, and received warm congratulations from the EC project officer and external reviewer during the final project review. ENRIITC enabled mutual learning, proposed strategies and best practices to foster the collaborations with industry, raised awareness among industry for collaboration opportunities at research infrastructures, and demonstrated impact. -

I joined the project in March 2027 as project manager and took over the coordination in November the same year. As project coordinator, I was in charge of leading the partners, ensuring the proper delivery and implementation of the project, on time and on budget. I was the interface between the European Commission and the consortium partners. I was responsible for the project reports and financial administration. I organised various events in Europe including the final closing Conference. The role included to put in place strong management processes and monitoring, to be pro-active, and have solid managerial and leadership skills. Under this assignment I had to successfully go through two audits of the project, and ensured ESS secured its entire budget. -
