About Jouke Stoel

Hi, I'm Jouke,I'll just say it; I like software. I like building it. I like looking at it. I like using it. I just like software. It can be like a digital Monet, it can be digital garbage. Finding out which is which and why is a big part of the fun.For the past decade I have been a developer (mostly Java). During this time I build a lot of different things. Most of them for the web.Nowadays I am doing my PhD at the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica in Amsterdam at the Software Analysis and Transformation research group. I am trying to tackle the complexity of big systems by leveraging Domain Specific Languages (DSL) and ideas from Formal Methods (FM).
