▪ Representing the ILO, establishment and maintenance of relations with the constituents and other relevant stakeholders, including thorough analysis of the political, social and economic situation in the country and preparation of regular reports on the issues of relevance to the ILO, country briefs and periodic updates, identification of strategic programme areas of cooperation and cooperation with the partner organizations and other UN Agencies, informing them about the ILO programmes and initiatives▪ Decision making within the ILO DWT/CO Budapest, including participation in the formulation of the DWT/CO intervention strategies and formulation of regular annual workplans and determination of programmatic areas of cooperation, based on the ILO DWCP, the needs of the tripartite constituents and donors’ priorities▪ Support to the ILO technical cooperation activities, involving creation and coordination of technical cooperation partnerships with the UN Agencies, IFI’s, government institutions, bi-lateral and multi-lateral donors, private sector and civil society, and analysis and research of information on donors, preparation of substantive briefs on possible areas of cooperation, identification of opportunities for cost-sharing▪ Organization of events of essential relevance to the ILO and facilitation of the broader ILO presence in the country

Implementation of a UNDP project on the drafting and adoption of the first National Sustainable Development Strategy (NSDS) of the Republic of Serbia within the Office and under the supervision of the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia. The key task was to design and implement a very complex and participative process of drafting of the NSDS of Serbia, involving 6 working group teamleaders, more than 30 experts included into three working groups and a broad public participation. Within this assignment before and upon the adoption of the NSDS I have played the key role in the presentation of the NSDS of Serbia at two consecutive sessions of the UN Commission for Sustainable Development.

Under the guidance of the ILO Senior Specialist for Occupational Safety and Health coordination of implementation of an ILO project on reform of the Labour Inspectorate of Serbia for the 21st century, including the training needs analysis of labour inspectors, drafting and implementation of a set of trainings for labour inspectors, drafting of a labour inspection enforcement policy and the guidebook for the work of labour inspectors, purchase of basic safety equipment for the labour inspectorate, etc.

In cooperation with the project Senior Advisor implementation of a capacity building project of the Ministry of Labour and Employment of Serbia, including the drafting of new legislation, training workshops for the staff of the ministry and its social partners, establishment of cooperation of the ministry with international partners, policy guidance in the area of labour and employment, etc.

Under the guidance of the Agency Director preparation of a complex plan of development of the national level public administration of Serbia (ministries and adjacent institutions), establishment of mechanisms for inter-ministerial coordination, training seminars for the top level decision-makers on the needs and implications of the public administration reform, etc.
