I manage the day-to-day operation of the accounting and group billing office while assisting the Director of Finance and Accounting with providing financial leadership to the business. JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa is a 575 room property nestled amongst the saguaro-covered foothills of the Sonoran Desert in Tucson, AZ. The property generates over $65 Million in revenue and consists of 7 Food & Beverage outlets including Primo from Melissa Kelly, 2013 James Beard Award winner. Residence Inn Miami Beach South Beach is an upscale 116-suite property in the heart of South Beach which opened in 2016. I oversaw the overall operations of the property which include: Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, and Valet departments. Maintained current licenses and permits as prescribed by local, state and federal agencies. Oversaw all finance and accounting functions including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, payroll, ordering procedures, end of period, & banking procedures. Reviewed financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement. Performed required annual Quality Audit. Monitored Guest Voice on a daily basis and respond to all guest responses.

Oversaw the Rooms Division department that included the Front Office, Maintenance, and Housekeeping in a 242 room property in the airport/hospital area. Assisted guests with any issues or concerns to increase customer return rates. Reviewed the night audit on a daily basis for accuracy. Newport Beachside Resort has been a Sunny Isles Beach icon since 1968. It is the only hotel on the strip that has its own restaurant on a pier. This 326 room property is also a time-share property that offers a cozy, tropical retreat with direct access to the beach. Newport offers relaxation to a higher level at the 7,800 sq ft spa and salon.
