Responsible for monitoring product quality through testing and observation. The Memjet Test Technician primary objectives: 1) Operation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test equipment. - Making sure of test priorities are being followed and finished according to schedule. - Test rigs optimization by upgrading hardware and test packages or software. - On top of changing broken parts by using light or hand held tools and fixing scripting bugs. - Modifying test scripts based on test specification by providing the accurate parameter values. 2) Data processing, failure analysis and reporting of test results. - Capturing of images using microscope, QEA tool, X-rite and IO1O xrite. - Gathering of raw data and process it using R-Scripts and Data processing tool. - Determine the test's failure mode and follow the failure criteria. - Inspect the test print quality based on X and Y direction, color density, non ejecting nozzles, streak lines and over spray. - Writing of report for the final test results. Organize the approved reports to the local share drive and share point. Additional duties include evaluation of inkjet print heads using specialized test systems, print quality testing and analysis, and other testing necessary to support the Memjet Ink Team.

• Assist other ink team members with testing of inks and print heads in support of inkjet ink product development, qualification and product support efforts• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot various test rigs and equipment used for evaluation of ink and print head characteristics• Coordinate test equipment updates with internal and external resources• Optimize data analysis tools to output targeted data sets• Manipulate test print files to output in the intended manner through test rigs• Measure print samples for print quality and color metrics• Assisting with other ink and system related tests such as environmentaltesting, image fade testing, print testing, etc.
