About Ivy Windsor, Psyd, Ncsp
Originally a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, I've been fortunate to spend the last three years leading a pilot program at Denver Public Schools, aimed at putting those with extensive clinical experience into a more traditionally therapeutic setting. As a mental health practitioner specializing in children’s grief and loss, trauma, abuse, disordered eating, and other intense experiences, I have the unique privilege of working with young individuals navigating these rough waters for what may be the first time. Through the use of an integrative strength-based approach, I work to ensure that clients leave our encounter feeling empowered, confident, and capable of handling these new challenges they are facing. I do not exist to take away the pain. Instead, I utilize cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, narrative, and person-centered modalities to bring clients to a point in their lives in which they are able to live with and move through the pain they are experiencing. The work we do is hard. It is messy. And, it is important.
