Create and review policy for the Office of Victim and Volunteer Services, develop connections with community partners to create programs for staff and youth to be involved to provide opportunities to giveback to the community and offer learning enrichment for youth that are under the supervision of the Department of Juvenile Justice.• Coordinate annual programs for National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, Child Abuse Prevention Month and Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Provide support for staff to create trainings, find resources for victims in need, ensuring a process is in place to ensure that communication with other state and local organizations (Department of Corrections, Children’s Advocacy Center of Georgia, Division of Family and Children Services, Girl Scouts of America, Dekalb County School System, etc.) is effective and there is thorough follow up to ensure no gap in services or programs.
