    My specific role was to oversee and develop the Enviromental and Youth themes of Creation’s delivery. In addition to this, I deputised for the Chief Executive Officer and co-ordinated the delivery of Black River Arts – Creation’s music and video youth led project. I line managed 7 people and was responsible for the all funding applications for the themes I managed – in my 6 months at Creation, I submitted funding applications to the value of £976,868, £70,000 of which was awarded and decisions were pending on the remainder. At the termination of my contract with Creation, bids to the value of a further £1.4million were in development. Implicit in all my duties was the promotion and development of a culture of fundraising amongst staff and a further £50,000 was awarded to Creation via my support and development. I also provided governance support and capacity development to local groups in the Blaengarw area in order to further their activities and aims.
