I am a conscientious, resilient and friendly professional. I value loyalty, honesty, fairness, hard work and good humour. Throughout my career I have worked in analytical roles, community and stakeholder engagement and managerial roles. I currently deal with the legalities and management of data within serious investigations, I liaise with senior managers, the Home Office and UK, US and European businesses to ensure risks are appropriately graded and managed, the response of law enforcement is necessary and proportionate, the actions taken are compliant with the relevant legislation, and the legal requirements for the release, use and storage of data are met. Often this work is done in unsociable hours, under extreme pressure, and involves a sharp attention to detail, problem solving skills and calmly managing critical risk, including immediate threat to life scenarios. I am also an experienced trainer, teaching new recruits and prospective detectives internally, and externally on national courses at the College of Policing. I have received internal, regional, national and international recognition for my work. Outside work, I am a wife, and a mum to 2 daughters and a dog! I thoroughly enjoy all things house and home, and watching and playing tennis.
