Hi, my name is Joy Cone! Thank you so much for visiting my profile! I am originally from Kernersville, North Carolina, I am a freshman and I am on the women's basketball team here at Queens. Being a Communications Major, I am very passionate about pursuing a career in Sports Communication and Broadcasting. I also love to do Marketing on Social Media. Along with having a minor in Music, sharing my gift in Vocal Performance is another love of mine. In Handshake, I am looking to find opportunities for growth in my private and professional life. As well as opportunities to showcase my areas of expertise. Some skills that I have are that I am an absolute people person, I work well with others, I'm social media savvy, my creativity, my leadership, willingness to learn, and open-mindedness. One super cool experience I have had was being chosen to be Miss North Carolina Teen USA "Miss Congeniality" in 2021. This award shows character and how genuine a person truly is.
