I'm the Talent Acquisition Lead for Central Washington University. In this role I lead the university's sourcing and recruiting efforts for faculty, staff, student and temporary employment, overseeing an awesome team of three Talent Acquisition Specialists. Our most exciting work to date has been implementing a new applicant tracking system, updating our website, and creating a new social media and advertising outreach plan to attract diverse and talented applicants. Not only do we have fun working together as a team, we have found it rewarding to see an increase in our applicant pools and those who are excited to join the Wildcat family! Before joining Central Washington University, I worked in human resources for Kittitas County and Ace Hardware Distribution Center. These experiences gave me an opportunity to apply what I had learned through my education to the real world environment. I was fortunate to be mentored by several wonderful leaders and co-workers who taught me about recruiting, employee relations, labor unions, benefits, compliance, and general government.
