As an editor, my job is to make your words sound better. Everyone can use an extra pair of eyes on their writing, whether it’s to correct the grammar, research statistics, or just as a last pair of eyes on something before it goes out.I have decades of experience editing and rewriting all sorts of text, including dissertations, peer-reviewed academic publications, translated works, executive presentations, high-traffic blog posts, nonprofit communications, novels, medical documents, and technical documents. As an editor, I love to help people put their best words forward. I make sure that everything is grammatically correct; that deadlines are met; that style and formatting are compliant with whatever medium you’re working with; and that facts, dates, names, statistics, and hyperlinks are all verified. My greatest editing successes have been taking academic peer-reviewed papers written in Korean and making them read as if written by a native English speaker.As a researcher and data analyst, my job is to uncover the information, facts, and statistics that help you make your point. My research and data analysis skills have been honed by two decades of work in fields ranging from academia to security to ghostwriting blogs, working on things like background research on the crime statistics in a certain area, verifying that corporate submissions to the federal government comply with regulations, or ghostwriting a blog about craft woodworking.
