As a Marketing & Communications Manager at Phine Safaris, I have been involved in various aspects of the travel and tourism industry, such as handling marketing projects and budgets, coordination of firm trips & curating of social media pages for effective marketing, customer service, and branding and managing the firms' image. I have also contributed to the monitoring and evaluation of the company's programs and projects, using data analysis and reporting skills to measure and communicate the impact and outcomes of our services. I am passionate about learning and developing my skills in marketing, MEL, and business administration, which I have been pursuing through my academic studies and volunteer work. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management and Operations from Moi University, and my Diploma of Business Management from the African Institute of Regional and Development Studies. I have worked as a Programs and MEL Officer at Dignitas Project, a non-profit organization that empowers educators and communities to transform schools and achieve quality education for all. Through these experiences, I have gained valuable insights and knowledge on how to effectively design, implement, and evaluate programs and projects in different sectors and contexts. I have worked as a research an fieldwork coordinator at Ethos of Engagement- Afrika. A women- led organization that uses the ISE4GEMS approach in evaluation of projects for both human and non- human environments. I am a dedicated and hardworking individual who can work under pressure and adapt to new situations. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, great leadership skills that mainly stem from my student leadership journey. I enjoy working with and helping others from diverse backgrounds and levels.
