As Sales Manager I am responsible for maximising revenue opportunities in the areas of weddings, leisure & corporate events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.

Preston Court is a gorgeous, family run wedding venue based just outside the city of Canterbury.Within this role I was responsible for overseeing the running and organisation of weddings, this included following a detailed planning brief and ensuring all timings were kept, to allow the successful run of events whilst maintaining the Preston Court brand and reputation. High emphasis was placed on customer experience, which was always achieved by excellent attention to detail and brand engagement.I supervised a team of ten bar and waiting staff on event days, ensuring a consistently high level of customer service was delivered and brand standards were always upheld.

Within this role at The University of Kent, I worked directly with Stakeholders, advising on the best advertising and selection methods. I actively managed recruitment campaigns from beginning to end; this involved liaising with hiring managers to gain insight into the vacancy, discussing advertising options and creating attractive campaigns to ensure maximum exposure within the relevant fields, dealing with candidate queries, monitoring the applications throughout the campaign and advising hiring managers on the selection process and finally supporting with the offer process.

Working as part of the recruitment team within HR at CCCU meant I was responsible for providing an efficient, effective and professional recruitment service to all University departments; this centred around ensuring staff recruitment campaigns were completed at optimum cost and timing
