I am studying materials science because everything is made of something, and I am deeply fascinated by what that something is. I have a passion for research, which is driven by my curiosity about nearly everything that I encounter. I worked for a summer in R&D for a semiconductor company, primarily studying electrochemical processes. My desire to understand more about the world around me is what drives me to pursue opportunities to learn in and outside of the classroom. Currently, I am studying crystal structure self-assembly using molecular dynamics simulations.
